Overview:

The Pitons are two majestic mountainous volcanic spires that soar up from the deep sapphire waters on the Caribbean Sea side of the island of St. Lucia. Towering above at 2,438 and 2,530ft their impression on both the locals and visitors to the island is truly awe inspiring. Cited as a World Heritage site in 2005 the Pitons are home to several bird species, giant ferns and wild orchids.  

Malgretoute Bay located just below Petit Piton takes advantage of both an up close view of one of these giants as well as the deep clear waters on this south west side of the island. This a great spot for the quintessential experience of swimming with a horse that is yours to experience. Riding to Malgretoute bay through a small part of the historic Soufriere town allows you a feeling of history hearing the hooves through the streets as you pass by the daily workings of Soufriere town.  Then onto a hillside trail with views of Petit Piton at the end of the bay. The magestic mountains leave an indelible mark on all who witness them so come and get up close and personal with Petit Piton on horseback. Enjoy the sand between your toes and swim in the cool Caribbean waters with your horse.

• Weight restriction of 220 lbs applies.

• Horses ride along the main road through the town of Soufriere to the beach.

• Bottle of water included.

• Swimsuit and towel if you are choosing to swim with your horse.

• Cash as there a bar on the estate with drinks/snacks available for after your ride.

• Closed toe shoes.
